Here are five songs to learn during the first week of lockdown. They are simple and 'must-know' for children who learn Chinese.

Yī zhǐ méiyǒu yǎnjīng, (or: ěrduo)，Yī zhī méiyǒu wěibā,

One has no eye (or: ears), One has no tail,
Very weird, Very weird.
Try making toilet paper tiger (lao hu):
3. Ten Little Indian Boys (shi ge yin di an xiao peng you)
- yī gè liǎng gè sān gè xiǎo péng yǒu ，
sì gè wǔ gè liù gè xiǎo péng yǒu ，
qī gè bā gè jiǔ gè xiǎo péng yǒu ，
shí gè yìn dì ān xiǎo péng yǒu 。
One little, two little, three little Indians
Four little, five little, six little Indians
Seven little, eight little, nine little Indians
Ten little Indian boys.
Try making a red indian head dress :
4. Mouse goes up the lamp stand (xiao lao shu shang deng tai)
xiǎo lǎo shǔ,
shàng dēng tái,
tōu chī yóu,
xià bù lái,
miāo miāo miāo,
māo lái le,
jī li gū lū gǔn xià lái.
The little mouse,
Goes up lamp stand,
Steals oil to eat,
It can't get down,
Meow, meow, meow,
The cat came,
Rumbling, it came tumbling down.
