Hi guys, since it's Herbstferien I am taking the opportunity to update my blog. And this lesson took place in June!

But it was an interesting lesson taken from Eric Carle's book "Slowly, slowly, slowly, said the sloth". I personally find this book rich in animal vocabulary, introducing different animal names to children.

After the story, we did a shadow play with cutout of all animals in the book and the children tried to name them all.

We proceeded with craft time by making a collage tree and a sloth hanging upside down from it. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo of the final work with a sloth on it.

As usual, our snack time is also aligned with our theme of the day. We made a tree and a butterfly.

We wrapped up the lesson with worksheet and coloring session and a farewell song.
